By going through the ‘Advanced Setup’ procedures of FlowVis® Digital, several very useful features can be accessed. These features include:

• Display of turnover rate (i.e., swimming pool turnover rate)

• Changing the display’s appearance at a user-defined flow rate

• Programming an (optional) auxiliary relay to operate external equipment such as a Heater or Chemical Feed System, to only operate at user-defined flow rates.

In order to access these features, the Advanced Panel Display (APM) Configurator needs to be downloaded (button below). Please refer to the FlowVis® Digital manual for step-by-step instructions.

One of the key benefits of using a commercial grade Variable Frequency Drive (VFD), such as H2flow’s Eco-Flow®-C is the ability to achieve a constant flow rate even as the filter starts to load up.

As the filter starts to become dirty, the VFD will slowly ramp up the pump’s speed to maintain a constant flow rate. However, in order to achieve this significant benefit, a good quality flow meter with a 4-20 mA output is required. In addition to it’s remarkable accuracy and user-friendliness, FlowVis® Digital also has the 4-20mA output the VFD requires in order to maintain constant flow. Upgrading from FlowVis® to the new FlowVis® Digital will provide both the accuracy and ease of installation desired.
