The TSA Soft Start features torque controlled starting and stopping, resulting in optimum control of the driven equipment.

Used for mounting a Soft Start panel to the front of a panel door or a control cabinet. Maximum distance between Soft Start and external control pane is three meters.

TSA protects the driven equipment with Shaft Power Monitoring and PTC and PT100 sensors which can be connected to monitor motor temperature and give process feedback.

Communication options include fieldbus communication via Profibus DP and DeviceNet, Industrial Ethernet communication via Modbus/TCP, EtherCAT, and Profinet 1 or 2 ports, and serial communication via USB or using RS485/Modbus RTU protocol (RS 232 is standard built-in).

Digital I/O extension boards with 3 digital inputs +3 relay outputs per board. Maximum is 2 boards.

Features such as jog forward and jog reverse allow for complete control of the driven equipment.

PC software used for commissioning, documenting, and logging applications.
